Table Runner

We have downsized considerable over the past 4 years. We sold our really large dining table, chairs & hutch because it was just too large (plus too heavy to move) for our smaller space. For a replacement, I ended up re-purposing a desk I bought from a builders sale & refinishing it in black (SHOCKER, I know). It was a perfect fit for our smaller dining room. The table really needed some flair so I bought some pretty paisley wallpaper to place on top under the glass as a runner. Love the colors for fall. Will do something else for Christmas & again in Spring. Something fun & inexpensive and made the table not so boring. Plus I don't have to remove a real runner when we eat and it is easier to clean up because it's under the glass! :D
